Marcella, also known as piqué, is a long-established choice for formal evening shirts, traditionally worn with a bow tie so the collar and bib sit neatly beneath a dinner jacket. The double cuffs can be worn with dress studs or cufflinks, while the buttoned front placket offers a practical alternative to a stud-only front. Cut in a classic fit with a generously proportioned shape, it is suited to black-tie dinners, weddings, balls and other formal evening occasions.
