ABOUT THE SAVILE ROW COMPANY

Based in the heart of London’s Savile Row – home to the world’s finest tailors – we have been crafting finely tailored clothes since 1938. The company was founded by my father Gerry Doltis, who was a master tailor and made suits for many of the leading entertainment and establishment figures of the day. Unfortunately, after dad was called to National Service in 1939, the business was unable to flourish and, to make matters worse, our London factory was destroyed during the Blitz.

However, once returning home, Gerry restarted the company and moved in to larger premises, where he made clothing for some of the leading department stores across the UK.

In 1998 we opened our flagship bespoke store at 40 Savile Row, which was recently moved to our head office just a stone's throw away; it's now known as Savile Row Company Custom Made. In 2001 we launched The Savile Row Company website. Today, I run the business with the help of my daughter Lee-Anne and our close-knit team. We have customers in over 120 countries and continue to offer a wide range of ready-to-wear and bespoke (SRCM) garments including men’s shirts, suits, silk ties and much more.
