Well, Recent research highlighted which gifts are seen as the most cliché presents, so we decided to survey men and find out what they REALLY want.

Although 56% of respondents to our survey said someone they know buys them the same thing each year, a resounding 80% said they would rather receive something predictable over something that isn’t exactly what they want.

Using a list of the most cliché gifts, we asked men which of the below would they like to unwrap the most on Christmas morning.
 
The most desired gift to unwrap on Christmas morning is socks and grooming or toiletries. This was followed by slippers and a wallet in joint second place. With a tie in fourth and cufflinks in fifth place.
 
So guess what? You shouldn’t feel guilty about buying a pair of socks. We all know it’s the thought that counts, but this data suggests socks are actually on their list of the most wanted!
